Robert Burns Film Centre in association with Friends Of The Earth Dumfries present Groundswell Rising

Renard Cohen's documentary chronicles the rise of grassroots opposition to the controversial form of energy extraction known as fracking. The film documents opposition from across the political spectrum to the ubiquitous practice of fracking for natural gas, and investigates the health and environmental reasons behind it.

The film is screened in association with the Dumfries branch of Friends of the Earth and the screening will feature an introduction and Q&A session with local FoE members, Debby Hamilton & Ian Gasse.
