Floridians Against Fracking presents Groundswell Rising

Monday, February 22, 2:00 PM
Port St. John Public Library, Cocoa, Florida
FREE and open to the public

Gather your community to learn the facts (not the "fracts") by attending an FLAF movie screening! Between Feb 20-22, coalition activists will host public movie* screenings of Gasland, Groundswell Rising, and Fracking Stories, among others, to inform the public about the dangers of fracking.

Bring a friend and let's learn about fracking in Florida together. After the screening (it's 1 hr 20 min), you're welcome to stay and debate and discuss the presented evidence (as opposed to any unhelpful hype or misinformation that normally accompanies private interest issues).

Groundswell Rising gives voice to ordinary people engaged in a struggle against Big Oil and Gas. We meet parents, scientists, doctors, farmers and individuals across the political spectrum decrying the energy extraction process known as FRACKING that puts profits over people. This documentary tracks a grassroots movement exposing the danger FRACKING does to our clean air, water & public health.
